About Us
Born in the rolling hills of Vas County, Hungary, Kalman began practicing masonry in his early teenage years. Following a tumultuous period of economic instability throughout the 1980's, Kalman left Hungary for Austria, where eventually he, his wife, and his newborn daughter would immigrate further to the Philadelphia area.
Kalman's son of the same name grew up hearing the tales of the trade, and from a young age would work beside his father every Summer (in part for the quality time with Dad, but also for some pocket money). Finding himself still intrigued in the art of masonry, Kalman Jr. joined the company full time after graduating university.
With over 40 years of experience, Kalman European Masonry is at the forefront of providing quality, durable, and premier service from a trusted family-owned operation.

Why do we emphasize the "European" when it comes to something as simplistic as stone masonry?
We at Kalman European Masonry are proud of the techniques and skills acquired by our Master Mason through trade school so many years ago. With four decades to refine these skills, Kalman Sr. was able to pass these skills onto his son, who now as a team are able to bring classical styles and rustic finishes to completely new builds.
Excelling in modernity, as well, Kalman and his son are able to apply their ancient techniques to create any vision a homeowner or builder may want to bring to life: be it modern, classical, surreal, or rustic.
